"Deep red cherry in colour with a complex nose showing a mix of red and blue berry fruits, florals, fennel and subtle spice, cinammon and cigar box.
The palate is sensual up front with chalky tannins supporting red cherry and spice through the palate, showing a delicate balance and length of flavour. Reflective of the 2011 vintage with savoury notes, making it a perfect match for venison, wild pork and goat.
Will continue to open up over the next five years."
What we say:
We were honestly blown away with this wine. It has incredible layers of red and black fruits, while still carrying succulent savoury flavs and soft supple tannins.
There's no doubt in our minds that this is a Pinot that will be enjoyed by all.
